Homework and Spellings (8th January 2016)

Happy New Year! I hope your lovely children have enjoyed their first week back as much as I have! We have had a lovely week this week doing plenty of Art and Poetry.

This week is a research project and I have told the children they may research roller coasters in any way they want. They can look at anything they want as well, if they become stuck there are prompts on their sheet.
Below is the homework and it is due on 22nd January 2016:

Homework
This week your homework is to research roller coasters. Roller coasters will be our first topic of 2016 and will take us up to Easter.
You should spend between 90 minutes (1 hour and a half) and 120 minutes (2 hours) on this piece of homework as it is not due for 2 weeks.
You may present your homework in any way that you like. If you decide to complete a project on a large piece of paper or perhaps build something then please take a photograph and stick it into your homework book.

Here are a few ideas to get you started if you are stuck:
  •  The history of roller coasters.
  • Your personal experience of roller coasters.
  • The biggest roller coaster in the world?
  •  The fastest roller coaster in the world?
  • What was the first roller coaster build and when?
Remember these are just ideas if you would like to research something else to do with roller coasters then you should. The most important thing about this project is, is that you have fun with it!
Have fun and enjoy J
